Anyone can be affected by the pelvic health problems named in the animation both before, during or after pregnancy.

The Devon Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) cares for all women and birthing people from pregnancy to 12 months after having a baby. The service has been set up to provide support, advice and treatment for those with or at higher risk of pelvic health concerns in Devon. You can self-refer into the service or talk to your midwife.

We are a team of specialist pelvic health Midwives and Physiotherapists, dedicated to helping reduce the chances of you having problems with your pelvic health. If you answer yes to any of the conditions in the self-assessment form and would like to be seen, please self-refer into the service.
