How to get urgent help

If you or someone else has self-harmed or is in danger, call 999 or go to A&E now.

If you need urgent help for your mental health, get help from NHS 111 online or call 111 and select the “mental health” option.

Specially trained staff will listen, discuss your urgent needs and help find the best way to support you.

Your mental health is as important as your physical health. You will not be wasting anyone’s time.

The Moorings provide a drop in service, welcoming people experiencing a mental health crisis and offers an alternative to the Emergency Department or a 999 response when there is no immediate need.
