Stopping smoking is one of the best things you can do for your health.
Evidence has shown that quitting is much more successful if done with the support of a smoking cessation programme.
In Devon, the following free services are available:
DEVON
“Our flexible programme means you can stop smoking with as much or as little support as you want. Our coaches can support you in person, over the phone or by video chat.”

One You Plymouth offer both face-to-face and telephone appointments, as well as virtual appointments through the Livewell Connect App.
Face-to-face appointments are available in a variety of locations throughout Plymouth.

Stop Smoking In Pregnancy
“If you stop smoking now it will make a big difference to your health and the health of your developing baby. The earlier you give up smoking in pregnancy, the better. But quitting at any stage will benefit both you and your baby, so don’t give up on giving up.”

Cytisine Summary and Dosing Guide
- Cytisine is now available in the UK as a prescription-only medication.
- Cytisine is a safe and effective treatment. It works in a similar way to varenicline (Champix), reducing urges to smoke by attaching to some of the same neuronal receptors in the brain that nicotine does.
