Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this year the aim is to highlight the importance of preventing breast cancer before it starts.
Each year, about 55,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK.
It is more common in people over 50, but it can also affect younger people.
If you’re invited to a screening – don’t put it off, it might save your life. Find out more and how to book on the NHS website.
